The short answer: professional photo scanning at our lab costs 0.79 ILS per loose photo, 0.89 ILS per photo from an album, and 5.5 ILS per glued-album page scanned whole — without taking the album apart. Minimum order 150 ILS, and from 1,000 photos up, home pickup is on us, anywhere in Israel (returns by studio pickup or paid delivery). Across the market you will find 0.57 to 1.30 ILS per photo — the real difference is what happens to your album along the way.

More than 5,000,000 frames and photos have passed through our scanners. And why does high-resolution scanning matter so much in the AI era? We wrote a full guide about it. The boxes and albums that arrive here are usually a family's entire photographed history — so here are all the numbers and the method, with no surprises.

Real calculation examples

300 loose photos = 237 ILS. 1,000 loose photos = 790 ILS — including a courier who picks up from your door. A 30-page glued album = 165 ILS. And if the same box holds slides too — our full slide scanning price guide is here.

What about glued albums? (The question that matters most)

Many old albums are glued — the photos were pressed onto pages with adhesive that hardened decades ago. Trying to peel them off is a gamble that ends in torn photos. So we do not disassemble: the album is opened gently on the Epson V850 Pro flatbed, every page is scanned whole at high resolution, and from that scan we crop each photo into its own file. You receive both the full album pages — with grandma's handwritten captions next to the photos, the part families treasure most — and every photo as a standalone file. The album comes back exactly as it arrived.

Why one photo per second — without giving up quality?

For loose photos we use the Epson FastFoto FF-640 — Epson's fast feed scanner that scans a photo per second and creates a separate file for each, including backs with handwritten dedications. Delicate, old or oversized photos move to the V850 Pro flatbed — the same scanner that handles our slides and negatives. That is how a box of thousands of photos takes days instead of months, without a single fragile photo passing through a feeder that might damage it.

How do you receive the scanned photos?

Via an organized download link valid for a month — every album and every bag in its own clearly named folder. A copy on a USB drive, external disk or cloud is also available. Small jobs — about 7 business days; large boxes — about 21 business days.

Why scan at all — and why now?

Printed photos are probably the only possession you own that cannot be insured: fire, flooding, or simply slow fading — and there is no second copy. Color photos from the 70s and 80s lose color even inside a closed album. One good scan stops the clock, and lets every family member hold a copy — not just whoever keeps the album in their closet.
