Every video tape format ever sold in Israel has passed through our studio. Studio HanaBi converts consumer and professional tapes to clean digital files using maintained, calibrated decks โ including rare formats that very few labs can still play.
Formats we convert
- VHS and VHS-C โ the classic family archive (no adapters that damage tapes).
- Video8, Hi8 and Digital8 โ including tapes with tracking problems.
- MiniDV and DVCAM โ transferred digitally over FireWire, with zero generation loss.
- Betamax โ on dedicated, calibrated machines; a rarity in Israel.
- Betacam / Betacam SP โ broadcast-grade capture for professional archives.
Damaged tapes
Snapped tape, mold, jammed cassettes or sticky-shed syndrome โ we repair mechanically damaged cassettes and offer tape baking as a last-chance recovery for deteriorating tapes.
Audio too: reel-to-reel, compact cassettes and dictation tapes are digitized with the same care. Contact us for a quote.
