Every video tape format ever sold in Israel has passed through our studio. Studio HanaBi converts consumer and professional tapes to clean digital files using maintained, calibrated decks — including rare formats that very few labs can still play.
Formats we convert
- VHS and VHS-C — the classic family archive (no adapters that damage tapes).
- Video8, Hi8 and Digital8 — including tapes with tracking problems.
- MiniDV and DVCAM — transferred digitally over FireWire, with zero generation loss.
- Betamax — on dedicated, calibrated machines; a rarity in Israel.
- Betacam / Betacam SP — broadcast-grade capture for professional archives.
Damaged tapes
Snapped tape, mold, jammed cassettes or sticky-shed syndrome — we repair mechanically damaged cassettes and offer tape baking as a last-chance recovery for deteriorating tapes.
